ABBY + WES | PROPOSAL PHOTOS | JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL

All proposals are so fun to photograph.  This one was especially great because so much family was around to be a part of it.  Even one of Abby’s best friend’s was in hiding so she could watch it all go down.

Some of my favorite highlights….

  • From what I gathered through the commotion, Wes and Abby were supposed to go to Tacolu for dinner.  After he proposed at some point in the chaos, he leaned over and said to her “don’t worry, we’re still going to tacolu”.   That definitely made me laugh.
  • She was so shocked with what was going on, he had to ask her THREE times before she said yes.
  • Abby will remember the day she got engaged forever.  But her expression when she saw her friend in the distance, that was just the icing on the cake that I think they will remember forever.

Okay there were plenty more things I could say about this AMAZING proposal, but for now – The slideshow!

  1. Many thanks to Tonya for making this proposal so special! She went out of her way to accommodate us with a last minute change of timing due to a forecast of rain, and captured the pure joy on Abby and Wesley’s faces. Tonya was wonderful to us and we couldn’t be happier with the photos and video!

  2. Huge thank you to Tonya! Our photos turned out aboslutely amazing, and she couldn’t have done a more perfect job! She was so friendly and professional, and went out of her way to help fit us in with unruly weather on the horizon. We are so happy with how these photos turned out and would highly recommend her to anyone!

    Thanks again Tonya!

  3. Wow, I saw those teary eyed of happiness and anxiety beyond compare. It’s a fairy tale indeed. Yes, interesting and funny, unrehearsed better than those we saw at the Paladdin theater in LA. Just yesterday, we hosted them to a BBQ at our hamlet here at Cappero, St. Augustine, Florida (the oldest City in the US) and I tested Wes if he can assimilate and adopt to the lifestyle of a rustic Flip clan. The test was simple. I told him, ‘Wes try this delicacy of real men or men in the trenches, take a bite of raw tuna fish dipped in Japanese concoction for a sashimi. Oh he did it in style all his own. Good job Wes, you passed the ritual test in flying colors. You can be a Flip now. Welcome to the Lonzanida clan and the Flip community at large.

  4. Tonya captured my proposal perfectly! She worked with now fiance to make sure it was done despite rain in the forecast. Her photos and videos truly highlighted all of our emotions and expressions in a way that made viewers feel like they were in the moment with us. Both families were involved in this proposal and even my best friend was there, causing a lot of excitement and commotion but Tonya made sure we got amazing shots nonetheless! I would highly recommend her to anyone!
