Amy and Brandon’s wedding day! {Casa Marina Wedding Photos, Jacksonville Beach Florida}

Amy definitely wins the award for being one of the most laid back brides I’ve ever had. I would ask her questions on preferences or planning, and she would shrug her shoulders and say something like, “ah…whatever is fine!”. She and Brandon chose to have their wedding day at one of my favorite venues…Casa Marina. It’s gorgeous, and we certainly couldn’t have asked for a better day for a wedding. These two finalized their night out on the ocean with their guests sending wish lanters into the sky underneath the most gorgeous moon I’ve seen all year. Seriously breathtaking.
Amy and Brandon, I hope you guys had the most amazing day you could have ever imagined. To me, it was perfect =)
xoxo

How did you two meet? We have known each other since high school, we both worked at Panera together when we were 16 and then in 2009 when he arrived home from a deployment in Iraq he moved into my neighborhood and from then on we were pretty much inseparable.
How did he propose? Well, we knew we were going to get married already BUT I finally got my ring, one night he had put a sign on our Siberian husky, Roxxy that asked me.
How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers, and cake? The colors actually took me awhile because at first I wanted to not clash with his uniform but then I decided that I was going to use the colors I liked, and purple has always been my favorite color and then I saw a picture of a suit that was grey with a purple tie and I couldn’t resist! For my flowers and my cake, I took all my inspiration from Pinterest.
How did you decide on your invitations, and who did you use? For my invitations I ordered them online from minted.com and assembled them myself. It took me awhile to finally pick which ones I wanted but they have little address stickers that wrapped around and said “ A love story..” and I think that won me over.

Where did you go for your honeymoon? We went to Europe, first London, then Paris and lastly Dublin.

If you could give yourself any advice prior to the wedding, what would it be? Don’t ever doubt if it is worth it! As I was thinking about money and everything else that was happening, I was wondering if it was worth it but then the day after I was like OMG that was the greatest ever, and totally worth it! I asked my mom if we could do it again 😉
