Reception Location: TPC Sawgrass
Caterer: TPC Sawgrass
Wedding Coordinator: Molly at the TPC did most of the coordination of the reception while Kate coordinated the ceremony.
Photographer: Tonya Beaver, of course! I first met Tonya because she photographed a few of my work events. I’ve seen Tonya command a large, silly, bunch so I knew she could easily handle my friends and family! I gave Tonya a list of desired shots, and she captured every one. She took so many amazing photos of the day that it’s been challenging selecting the ones we want in our album!
Videographer: In Motion Video Productions, Christina Grimsley. So glad Clint insisted on having them, I get to see all that I missed. Christina’s team did a great job! They were professional and I was happy to have them there to get it all on film. They were a very important behind the scenes part of my wedding.
Cake: Classic Cakes. Carol, was so easy to work with and best of all they make the yummiest flavors!
Florist: Wilson. I loved the combinations of flowers and colors that Judy came up with! Additional she came the morning after the wedding to move the flowers from the reception to the brunch room. We got to enjoy the flowers for two events!
Officiate: Kathy Cho, Phillip’s cousin. Kathy did a couple of counseling sessions with us prior to the wedding. She made the ceremony very personal. She also engaged the audience. She did a great job!
Hair: Alex Castillo. She did a trial with me and ensured I looked great on my wedding day! Additionally she brought a team so that we had sufficient help to prep the moms and bridesmaids.
Make-up: Chrissy Strum. She did a trial with me. Together we figured a look that was wedding worthy but sill “me”.
Entertainment: The Faze Band. They did a great job at announcing us and playing and singing our favorites.

Wedding Shoes: Bridalshoes.com. Thank you to Atkinson Shoe Repair for finding the right dye so that my shoes matched my Bridesmaids’ dresses!
Bridesmaids Dresses: Bella Bridesmaids. My initial order could not be fulfilled due to the manufacturer running out of fabric. Bella helped me find new bridesmaids dresses ASAP.
Groom and Groomsmen Wear: Nordstrom
Before the Wedding …
How did you two meet? Phillip and I met on Match.com. While I planned on dating locally, this striking man from Chicago started writing me, and I couldn’t resist. I’m blessed he found me!
How did he propose? I was visiting Phillip in Chicago. We had planned on visiting the Museum of Art, and Phillip claimed that his friend left us tickets in my hotel room. When we entered my room, it was filled with flowers and rose petals. Phillip went down on one knee as asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes, but that was only the beginning of the surprise! He arranged for me to get a manicure with his mom and sister in law. From there we went to dinner with his family at the Chicago Chop House and then followed it up with a popular champagne bar, Pops for Champagne.
How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers, and cake? I’ve never been a pink person, but when I was looking at bridesmaid options, I was taken by a particular shade called “shocking.” Phillip requested a charcoal color for his groomsmen, and most of the colors came from this combination. I showed my florist a swatch and let her run with the flowers. Classic Cakes come with the wedding package we used at the TPC, and I’m so glad. The cake design and flavor options were phenomenal. We went with carrot, german chocolate, and classic white.
How did you decide on your invitations, and who did you use? My mom and I found our invitation at Pineapple Post. We went with a very classic yet simple design from Crane and Co.
After the Wedding …
Where did you go for your honeymoon? Phillip planned an amazing trip to wine country in northern CA. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in Sonoma Valley and did a couple days of wine tours. The food and wine was incredible!
If you could give yourself any advice prior to the wedding, what would it be? Not to worry so much about wedding details. At the end the day, regardless of what mishaps occurred, I was going to be married to an amazing man!
