This was a special session to me. I’ve been a part of this clan for a while now…starting with being friends with Lynn (Harrison’s grandma), shooting Sarah and Greg’s engagement, wedding, maternity, and now newborn photos. To get to walk through life with such special people is an honor. Lynn sometimes assists me on my newborn sessions, and I’m eternally grateful for her help. When Harrison’s session went on the calendar, I immediately asked her to help me. Grandma love during a session can always be of help! Harrison did GREAT! He had his own agenda for the first half of the session which was to eat, eat, eat, eat. LOL He’s a growing boy! But after a bit, he zonked out and we went to town shooting quickly through poses. Sarah’s sister and Greg’s mom also got to attend. At the point of shooting Greg in his firefighter uniform and holding Harrison, I could hear sniffles around the room behind me. I turned to look and see every person in the room tearing up. I thought how special it must be to watch your husband hold your sleeping baby…and then of course to be Greg’s mom and watch her son hold her new grandson… It was just a great afternoon spending time with some amazing people. I’m truly honored and blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people. Getting to take photos for people to cherish forever is just one of the perks.
Love you guys!
