Before the Wedding …
How did you two meet? Cliff and I actually went to High School together, But did not hang out at all in school…. We started dating after high school where we met up through mutual friends at a tail gate party in Gainesville.. We hung out that night in Gainesville and I had mentioned to him where I worked and the next Monday he came into my work to ask for my number so he could take me out, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go or if I even liked him… He told me to give him one chance and he promised it would be worth my while… So glad I did cause as they say, the rest is history…..
How did he propose? After 5 yrs of dating he surprised me with a trip to St Augustine where we stayed at the Casa Monica hotel… He waited to the very last night of our trip and proposed on the front steps of the hotel 🙂
How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers, and cake? We wanted something fun and classy. We knew we wanted our favors to be mini champagne bottles and s’mores. We went with blush pink, navy and gold as our final colors.
How did you decide on your invitations, and who did you use? Our invitations were made by A & P designs out of St Pete. They did a wonderful job… They were blush paper with navy writing and had gold dots around the corners.
What was the most fun part of wedding planning? I enjoyed the end stages of planning where you feel like everything is coming together and you can really start to feel what you had envisioned come to life.
Which part did you not like as much? I enjoyed all of it!
After the Wedding …
What was the high point of your wedding day that you hope to remember forever? The split second directly after the ceremony. Cliff and I had a moment to ourselves before pictures and it was the best feeling in the world!
If you could give yourself any advice prior to the wedding, what would it be? Try and enjoy the day no matter how crazy things can get! It’s not worth it to be worried about what other people are doing, you only have this day once so enjoy IT!!!
Where did you go for your honeymoon? Breckenridge Colorado! I had never seen snow before and it was so beautiful! We had a great time!
