For of all, let me just say that I was SOOOOOOO nervous being on the other side of the camera. It was SO weird to be the one getting our pictures taken OF. We have two amazing photographers that our shooting our wedding. Corinna Hoffman, who is a photographer that I’ve been a huge fan of for quite some time. She and I chatted through FB and blogs for a few months then decided to finally meet in person. We sat for hours over lunch chit chatting about being a photographer. I was stoked that she agreed to shoot my wedding. Also, Meghan Stewart is a photographer that I had heard of for a long time before I actually got to meet her. She is friends with several of my friends so when I actually saw her in person to meet at a bridal show, we were both stoked. Since then we’ve shot a wedding together so I’ve seen her in action…and love her work! I couldn’t be happier that these very talented ladies will be in charge of photos for my own wedding day. I have such high expectations of what I want for my wedding photos (since it’s what I do for my profession), but I have no doubt they will go above and beyond.
Here’s a sneak peek of a few our our photos from the engagement sessions. Corinna did our first session. We chose to do a really dressy session. Corinna took us to an area near Hotel Indigo, and we spent hours in a totally glam shoot. I’m using some of these photos for our wedding invitation. Here’s a few. (My husband to be is SO handsome!!!!)
The very next day was our session at the beach with Meghan. Brent and I met and fell in love during countless hours of being in the ocean surfing together. So it seemed only fitting to do a beach session with our boards. Meghan really caught some sweet moments between us. It was so much fun! I designed our save the dates out of a few of her pics.
