Wedding Coordinator: Because our DJ and Photographer had such an organized timeline between them. We collaborated with them as well as my stepmom/mom and everything went great.
Photographer: Tonya Beaver ! Words can’t describe her organization, skills, humor and her genuine personality! I enjoyed working with both her and Amber, her assistant. I had a tough crew to deal with at times (HAHA) and she made it all come together extremely well. Wouldn’t choose anyone else if I could do it all over again!
Videographer: Didn’t have one
Cake: Tasteful Temptations
Florist: Artistic Florist out of Amelia! They were incredible. They made the site look even more amazing then it already was.
Officiate: Andrew Williams. We all graduated high school together and he just became ordained a few months ago. He has only performed a few weddings and we were honored for him to be able to attend and perform ours.
Hair and Make-up: Salon Rustique out of Kingsland, GA. One of my bridesmaids mothers owns this salon who also does make-up. These women are not only incredible at what they do but make you enjoy your time while you are getting prepared for the biggest day of your life! I would recommend them highly for any hair and/or makeup work!
Entertainment: DJ Justin Mann out of Kingsland, GA. He brings his own equipment including strobe lights, speakers, microphones, etc. He will ensure everyone at the reception has a great time! He has a consultation a few weeks prior to the wedding to get all of the details he needs. Organization once again at its finest!
Transportation: Horse Stamp Inn collaborated with Holiday Inn in Brunswick, GA and provided a sprinter van to and from the location.
Wedding Dress: Johns Bridal in Tampa, Florida where my Dad lives. My maid of honor and I took a trip down 8 months prior to wedding and found the dress I fell in love with. Not to mention we had visited about 10 other boutiques before that so we knew when I found the right one !
Wedding Shoes: DSW
Bridesmaids Dresses: Alfred Angelo
Groom and Groomsmen Wear: Men’s Warehouse
Before the Wedding …
How did you two meet? We initially met in High School where we became friends. I then went off to college and pursued my associate degree in Business Management. When I moved back to our hometown we became reunited through friends. He became one of my best friends which led into us eventually dating. Three years later he proposed at his family’s lodge. It was a dream come true!
How did he propose? He proposed at his family’s hunting lodge 30 minutes before I took my first buck ever! (HAHA His dream come true)
How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers, and cake? I’ve always loved dark colors (Charcoal Gray is slimming really) and my favorite color is pink. So dark gray and light pink went well together. I decided on cake being Vanilla with caramel because we both don’t like chocolate. As far as tiers and colors we went along with color scheme and my dress (ruffles).
How did you decide on your invitations, and who did you use? I love pictures so I wanted multiple pictures on my invitations. We used wedding paper divas online and created them ourselves.
After the Wedding …
Where did you go for your honeymoon? Riviera Maya, Mexico. Secrets Capri (All inclusive)
If you could give yourself any advice prior to the wedding, what would it be? To definitely stay stress free! I did quite well with this but I can see how it could have got very stressful. Most importantly I would take it all in. The occasion passed so quickly it seems as if it were a blur! Sit back and relax !
