Wedding Details We Love

This year we have seen a lot of wedding details but a few of them really stand out to me. The best weddings are the ones that are personalized in a cool way. Every couple is different and their weddings completely reflect their personalities! Don’t stress too much about your wedding, just choose what you love and everything will come together. Here are some details and tips to follow.

(Also, a strange coincidence has happened lately, but so far all of our fall weddings have not included a bouquet or garter toss. Couples are tending to spend more casual time and dancing time with their friends and family instead of sticking with the traditional activities).

Flowers:

I have seen some absolutely stunning flowers but two styles seem to stand out. The first is a colorful table setting that has all types of flowers in a beach themed wedding. The second is a simple white bouquet. A lot of ladies have been choosing this classic look because it is so timeless.

Table settings:

Table settings can be the way that you as a bride can express yourself in a fun way. The location of your wedding, the time of year, and the formality of your event can help guide your choice for the table settings. My favorite from the year is the unique setting with minor variations from table to table. The bride found all of the parts of these table settings! I also enjoy when the settings match the location of the wedding. For a wedding at Oyster Bay Yacht club, the bride chose more nautical themed details that really pop!

Cakes:

Cakes are so varied and couples should choose something that they love. This year I have seen a lot of white cakes with a few details on them, sometimes the details match the bride’s dress, the colors in the wedding, or have a bit or personal flair that embodies the couple. Check out these cakes, one is classic and one is a little bit different, the couple decided to go with cupcakes! Everybody is different so choose what fits your style and your wedding. Those are the cakes that stand out the most 🙂

How to have a wedding that stand out:

Finally, let’s talk about details that make your wedding stand out. It doesn’t have to be a major detail, just tiny parts of the day that connect to the style of your wedding. The groom wore a chevron tie that matched his wedding details, the candy bar at the wedding featured all pink candy which matched the colors of the wedding, and finally the personalized note to all of the guests at the tables.
