AUBREY’S CAKE SMASH PHOTOS

Aubrey is SUCH a little doll baby. I mean, just look at her. So adorable.

Cake smashes are so much fun. I love when clients book the entire hour session because we can do some setups with different backgrounds and rompers prior to the actual cake part. We provide lots of romper styles and props that you’ll be able to choose from. We get some fun smiles, and then we move on! Variety is what I go for so you have a lot to choose from.

For the cake time, we have you bring the cake and balloons if you want them. But the rest of the props come from our closet, and again you’ll get to choose. We discuss this at length in the planning phase prior to your session so don’t worry. It’s very typical that mommies will bring whatever props being used for the birthday party so we can incorporate those.

Nevertheless, these one year birthday / cake smash sessions are so much fun! My biggest tip for a good smash is to give your little one a try out before the cake smash session. If they’ve had a chance to touch and taste a cake before, the cake smash tends to be more of a SMASH. If it’s their first time feeling icing or having that much sugar, it can be too new and overwhelming.
