Anelle + Jeff Wedding Photos
Anelle and Jeff have been one of my interesting couples. They don’t live in the US so we didn’t even get to meet until their Engagement Photo session. They live and work in London so I voted to do their session and wedding there! =)
So for the wedding day, we started out at the inn for getting ready shots. It was fun meeting all the bridesmaids and hearing the stories from the night before (bachelorette/bachelor party night!). So that was fun entertainment as I was working on shooting all the details.
We got Anelle in her dress and headed down to St. George street for some formal photos. I LOVE the bridesmaids dresses being all different colors. And I especially loved the fact that she had a boy as a brides”man” and Jeff had a girl as a part of his party too.
Ceremony time arrived, and it was beautiful of course. Cathedral Basilica is one of the most coveted places to marry in our area. It’s just gorgeous. After these two said their “I do’s” we took a few formal photos inside before we moved out to the streets of St. Augustine for more fun formals.
Thankfully Anelle and Jeff were game to walk all over and get a good variety of shots. St. Augustine has endless spots for really gorgeous photos! Once we were done with that, we all headed up to cocktail hour. It was important to them to make it to all of their cocktail hour and spend as much time as possible with their friends and family.
The decor and tiny details throughout the reception were so great. There was so much detail and thought that went into everything!
Reception time officially started and the party started. It was FUN and oh so entertaining. =) Let’s see, someone passed out then started break dancing within a 5 minute period. The couple did the traditional dollar dance but not so traditionally (“Pony” by Ginuwine was playing if you catch my drift).
My second shooter got circled around for a dance. I watched a boy go into the women’s bathroom (in all fairness, it is confusing at white room). And I guess that’s it for crazy! I loved their cake cutting. It’s always fun to me when a couple can have fun and smash it!!!
For the last song, they all gathered in a big circle and danced around the couple to Phillip Phillips “Home”. Everyone was singing at the top of their lungs. It was a perfect last moment before they headed out for their sparkler exit. =)
Anelle and Jeff, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day. I loved every second of it…truly. You two have been great to get to know, and I hope you are perfectly pleased with your big day. =)
xoxo

(I need to say a huge thank you to Meghan for second shooting with me. I couldn’t have done today without you! Also, thank you to Jimmy who came to help carry camera bags around Saint Augustine, FL as we moved from place to place. I was able to shoot double the amount of photos just because of your help so thank you, thank you!)

Before the Wedding …
How did you two meet?
Well it’s quite an unusual story. See at the time we were both managers for Abercrombie and Fitch an we got promoted to store manager in Connecticut from Florida.
So, to save our company money they had Jeff pick up a U-Haul in Ocala, Fl pack it up and then come pick me up in Jacksonville, Fl. So basically we met in a U-Haul with a 26 hour drive ahead of us.
How did he propose?
Jeff propose in Central Park after attending the thanksgiving day parade.
How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers, and cake?
Well, I probably changed my mind about 20 times. I mean you should ask the girl who I ordered my bridesmaids dresses through because I think I sent her 7 different emails with all different dresses and colors. Pinterest was my devil.
How did you decide on your invitations, and who did you use?
Anelle Rose and her mother Janet Rivera
After the Wedding …
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
Mauritius
If you could give yourself any advice prior to the wedding, what would it be?
-Plan your wedding at least a year in advance
-Live in the same state or the same country for that matter, that you are having your wedding
-Don’t stress about any little details that you might have missed because if you dot tell anyone no one will know but you
-Enjoy every minute of that day because it goes by so quick but it becomes one of the best days of your life
