Where did you go for your honeymoon?

Sandals La Toc St. Lucia. It was amazing would recommend it to anyone! We already want to go back!

If you could give yourself any advice prior to the wedding, what would it be?

Start taking more vitamin c about two weeks before the wedding so you won’t get sick and try to get more rest!

How did the two of you meet?

When we both were in middle school , we lived in the same neighborhood and josh would hang out with my twin brother Grayson. I talked with him every now and then, but it wasn’t until I started tutoring him in French in high school that I really got to know him. He was so funny, I think he only asked me to help him to get to know me better and to ask me out! We had been dating about 9 1/2 years before we got married! High school sweethearts!

How did he propose?

We had just bought a house together, and we had my family and his family over for dinner. After dinner everyone was in a hurry to leave which I found was strange but I had boxes to unpack and things to do. Josh also said that he had to run and pick up a few things from his parents house. When he got back, I was folding the laundry and he rounded the corner with flowers in his hand. He told me to sit down he had something special for me.

He pulled out a piece of paper and told me he had wrote a poem for me. It was titled “boo’s poem”. His nickname for me is Boo. The beginning was about our first date and at the end he said

” so for the last line of the poem I’m going to get on one knee; and ask the girl I love the most will you marry me”

It was so sweet! Love him!

How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers and cake?

Color Scheme:

I knew I always wanted to use navy. It’s one of my favorite colors. I thought about pink because it reminded me of spring.

Flowers:

So for the flowers since there is a lot of different flowers blooming in march I told the florist I would like a wide variety of pink , green and a touch of yellow wild flowers. I loved what he did, it looked so great against the navy.

Cake:

As far as the cake. Josh is not a big cake eater, so we knew we wanted something simple but good. We decided with a yellow cake with buttercream frosting and a strawberry filling. It was to die for. Everyone loved the cake! We Can’t wait to eat it in a year, if we can wait that long!
