Ryan and I actually met online and spent some time getting to know each other before going on our first official date.
The night he proposed was actually a year ago today, I didn’t know he has asked my dad for permission right before quarantine began so once everything shut down he had to make a second plan that was so fun.

We had my sister (the future maid of honor) and mocha (the future best man over), Ryan iced me (which is something our group had been doing forever) when I took the ice he told me I had to get down on a knee to chug it (like you are supposed to) and I said no, which he replied with “okay, so I guess I will then” and he pulled out the ring and popped the question! After that we had all our closest friends and family over to celebrate with us and it was an incredible night.

To Future Brides:

trust the process if you are like me , you like to set everything up and double and triple check that it is done perfectly. That is not your job on your wedding day, your job is to enjoy the best day of your life and know that everything is going to be the most perfect it can possibly be.

The best part of the wedding day:

my favorite part of the wedding day was hearing the music start as I stood back there with my dad and knowing people were starting to walk down the aisle. That is really when the day got real and I realized I was about to marry the love of my life.

The one thing to change about the wedding:

obviously the easy one, have a wedding when there is not a pandemic – the extra questions and accommodations for the guests were just an additional stress on us when it came to planning.
