How did you two meet?
We met in July 2013 on the app “tinder” in Jacksonville. Haaaaaa.
How did he propose?
Bryan proposed while we were camping on a beach in Washington, June 2014
How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers, and cake?
I grew up at the beach and I always knew I wanted a beach themed wedding. We’re also kind of obsessed with our favorite colors. Bryan’s is green and mine is blue so we wanted to have it all be blue and green. For the flowers I knew I wanted a teardrop shape for me and loose bouquets for my bridesmaids. I also knew I wanted white with touches of blue and green. They were perfect!! The cake is from Cinottis Bakery which is a place my family had been going regularly since I was a kid. We always knew we wanted Cinottis to do our cake!! I found my cake design on Pinterest. Seemed like an elegant beachy look. It was beautiful..and delicious!!
How did you decide on your invitations and who did you use?
We used Pineapple Post on 3d street in jax beach. They had tons of choices so it was difficult to choose!!!! But we knew we wanted it simple, blue writing, with a beach touch. They were so pretty. The blue color was amazing and so was the print. We had shells at the bottom of the invitation, rsvp card, and main envelope.
What was the most fun part of wedding planning?
Picking songs to give our dj
Which part did you not like as much?
Bryan and I being in Germany made it difficult to plan
After the wedding…
What was the high point of your wedding day that you hope to remember forever?
Riding in a 57 Chevy to the reception!!! That was super exciting and romantic.
And the dance floor. That’s where the best memories of our guests are. Dancing and celebrating with the people we love.
If you could give yourself any advise prior to the wedding, what would it be?
To be in the moment. Really stop and look around. It goes by soooo fast. Enjoy every single moment because it only happens once.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
