The one & only Tonya Beaver! Tonya and her assistant were awesome. They were there to capture it all and I mean EVERYTHING….from the smallest detail to the great big wedding day picture. I didn’t want the “typical” wedding video and I’d seen his work and knew he’d make it fun and “to the point” 🙂

I’ve known Jeff since I was in 4th grade; his daughter Kristen (sang in the wedding) and I have been friends since 8 yrs old-his other daughter Katelyn (sang in wedding with husband) I’ve knows since she was born-I couldn’t imagine anyone else marrying me-he was the one who baptized my mother and I 🙂

Entertainment: DJ-Marlon Sulph-friend from Brooks Rehab-Marlon did a great job-kept everyone dancing!

Before the Wedding …

How did you two meet?

At my work; Wesley was doing his nursing rotation at the hospital I work for.

How did he propose?

Wes knows I’m obsessed with toaster strudels. One morning he made me toaster strudels for breakfast and spelled “Marry Me?” with the icing

How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers, and cake?

Pinterest of course-saw the yellow and grey and thought it looked really good together. I knew I didn’t want traditional cake so we went with mini cupcakes and cake pops

How did you decide on your invitations, and who did you use?

Again I didn’t want traditional and I always thought paper invitations were a waste of money (and trees!) so we went with an online invitation-greenvelope.com

After the Wedding …

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

Dominican Republic-Oceans Blue & Sand-we upgraded to VIP/Honeymoon Suite-can I just say OUTDOOR SHOWER?!!

If you could give yourself any advice prior to the wedding, what would it be?

To not worry so much about the little details….everything will work itself out. No matter what, I was still marrying the love of my life! Also, to try and take as much in as possible…the quiet moments, the walk, getting ready with the girls, all the friends & family there and the look on Wes’ face when he first saw me…if only time could stand still for just a second. Friends warned me that day would go by too fast….and they were right.
