Li + Jared Wedding Photos

Jared is one of our dearest friends. He packed up and moved to Costa Rica about a year ago to serve full time on the mission field.

Jared met Li on one of his many trips to Costa prior to his move there.

They began a beautiful friendship which eventually turned into being more serious and special. Jared proposed and brought Li to the states around Christmas time. Of course we all fell in love with her as well. She is a teacher at the same mission, and together these two have such a huge heart for the people there.

These two chose to get married high in mountain at Villa Blanca Cloud Forest Hotel & Nature Reserve in a tiny little chapel called La Mariana Wedding Chapel on a hill. It couldn’t have been more perfect. For me, it’s always an honor to be near the altar, shooting with a zoom lens, and to see every facial expression and emotion on people’s face for their big day.

To get to experience something so deep for people that I love is even more tender. Seeing the nerves, the tears, the laughs. I always say that we get to experience heaven on earth on a wedding day, and this wedding day was especially true.

After the ceremony at The Hacienda, a few photos, everyone joined together for an amazing Costa Rican dinner…and dancing!!! It was truly an amazing day.

Jared and Li, it was an honor to be such a part of your wedding and help you remember the day forever. You are both so special to our hearts, and we love you so much.
