Ceremony Location:  Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ponte Vedra Beach

Wedding Coordinator:  Lauren Cowgill with Windham Events and Design;  

Lauren was UNBELIEVABLE!  We could not have imagine our wedding day without her.  She was recommended by Tonya!

 Tonya Beaver Photography of course!!!!  The BEST photographer out there!!  Made our wedding day the best day ever.  I am so very thankful for having Tonya there on my wedding day.  She not only was incredibly professional and amazing, but she kept our day rolling.  If it weren’t for her we wouldn’t have stayed on schedule.  I couldn’t have imagined anyone better!

 

Videographer:  Adam Presley Films;  Alex did a wonderful job, he was there in the morning for the getting ready footage and stayed until the end of the night.  He was very easy to work with!

 

Cake:  Metro Custom Cakes;  our cake turned out amazing!  They did such a good job with the design and the cake was sooo delicious.  We had so many compliments on the cake afterwards. 

 

Florist:  Shea Hopely Flowers;  Shea did an amazing job putting together exactly what I had imagined

 

Officiant:  Father Frank Iacona with Our Lady Star of the Sea

 

Hair & Makeup:  Paulina Perez’s team; Natalie and Nicole.  They did an amazing job!

 

Entertainment:  Disc Jockey’s To Go;  unfortunately I would not recommend them.  

After Liz, our DJ, played the wrong first dance song she continued to argue with me, Lauren and Tonya about the song being the right one.  She played the same set of songs on repeat, and did not add any songs to the playlist other than the suggestions I gave her.  She also played the wrong song for the bouquet toss.  Her overall attitude and performance was disappointing.  

 

Transportation:  East Coast Transportation;  

We rented a party bus for the wedding party and significant others and had an awesome time!

 

Wedding Dress:  Mikaella – White Magnolia

 

Wedding Shoes:  Kate Spade – Nordstrom

 

Bridesmaid Dresses:  Watters WT00 – Bella Bridesmaid

How did you two meet?  

We have known each other since we were just five years old.  We grew up in the same small Illinois town.  Although he still denies it to this day, Brian once tried to kiss me on the kindergarten playground.  Even through all the awkward stages and years apart, we managed to keep in touch.  
 
A few years ago the quick texts just to say hello turned into lengthy phone conversations that we didn’t want to end.  We realized we couldn’t live without each other!  At the time, I was living in Nashville and he was in Florida so there was quite a distance between us.  
 
A few months after talking every day and making weekend trips to see each other, I decided to take a leap of faith and move down to Florida.  Since then things have just been getting better and better!
 

How did he propose?  

Brian took me to our childhood playground and proposed next to the very same tree he tried to kiss me in front of in kindergarten!
 

*How did you decide on your color scheme, flowers, and cake?  

I‘ve always liked light pink and thought it would look perfect with light gray and white!  Our florist did an amazing job combining pink peonies with roses and ranunculus all in shades of pinks and white.  The cake was an easy decision, we liked the simple white with a little texture and a couple flowers.
 


How did you decide on your invitations?  

We made our own invitations with a kit from Hobby Lobby.  They were very elegant and affordable.  
 

Where did you guys go for your honeymoon?

Costa Rica!!!  It was such an amazing adventure and much needed relax time on the beach with my new hubby : ) 


If you could give yourself any advice prior to the wedding, what would it be?

Drink lots of water!!!  Seriously, I felt bad for Tonya because my mouth was so dry I couldn’t smile all the way.  And if you’re a crier ; ) bring tissue down the aisle.  
Be thankful for everything you have and everyone that has traveled so far to be with you that day.  They are all there because they love and support you!  And of course have fun!
