TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY TO YELLOWSTONE & GRAND TETONS TRIP

My favorite hobby in this life is probably travel. My counselor has photos on his wall of grand Tetons, and I would sit there and think “gosh that’s pretty, I should go there”. and that’s how my grand Tetons came about. When I started researching where it was even located, I saw it was super close to Yellowstone.

Why not start there!? And that’s how I planned this trip. From there one day I was getting my hair done, and I told my hairdresser I was going and asked if she wanted to go. She said yep, and less than a month later we were flying out. I love the randomness of life!

We flew into Bozeman so we could start at North Yellowstone. Little did we know season was closing in TWO WEEKS!

Family owned and operated. 5 stars for the sweetness they were to us.

North Yellowstone is for seeing some of the geothermal things, but more-so wildlife and driving. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is on the north part. (which I would say was my fav)

West Yellowstone is more of the geysers which we did for one full day. It’s so touristy, and I prefer to be in nature so I feel like we did the obligatory things, but it was far better finally getting out into the hikes the next day.

From there we finished up the trip n the Grand Tetons. I kept Gypsy app on most of the trip so driving through the Jackson Hole which is just the term for the valley by the Tetons was so enlightening! I love the science and history of the region. I highly recommend that app.

Jackson is SO expensive and was booked up so we ended up getting an Airbnb in Idaho around the pass.

Grand Tetons are more for hiking so of course I was in heaven that leg of the trip.

We had a great time, and I’m stoked to have a few more national parks in the books. On to planning the next adventure!
